In 1927, Frederick Barden established Barden's Boat Yard, a small, family run business, on Sippican Harbor in the beautiful town of Marion. Now, eighty years later, the tradition continues.

Barden's Boat Yard is a full service boat yard, with two facilities in Marion. In the winter, we offer inside or outside storage for boats from 16' to 60'. In the summer, we offer moorings, some Dock Space, fuel, and our rack service for power boats up to 32'.

Our current staff have been together for over a decade, with some employees working here over thirty years. Our mission is to continue to exude pride in our work, while providing our boat owners with the service and maintenance they expect and deserve. We are fortunate to have clients who are like family, some being customers well over sixty years.

Sippican Harbor is picturesque, peaceful and protected. Many who originally came to Marion in the summer by water, have now relocated here permanently. It is simply lovely.

Our main waterfront facility is located in picturesque Sippican Harbor. A full service operation with a 35 ton travel-lift, crane service, boat transportation, wood & fiberglass repair along with the service & repair of power systems.

Our inland facility is located at 35 Benson Brook Road.10,000 square feet of inside, secured storage.

Outside storage is also available at both locations.
